PM Narendra Modi‘s pioneering initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025 has set a new Guinness World Record for “most people registered on a citizen engagement platform in one month”, with 3.53 crore valid registrations on MyGov. This recognition marks a significant global endorsement of India’s growing digital civic participation and its unique approach to education-led dialogue.
The official certificate was conferred at a ceremonial event in the capital by Rishi Nath, adjudicator from Guinness World Records, in the presence of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, MoS Jitin Prasada, school education secretary Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum.
Since its inception in 2018, the PM under PPC engages with students, parents and educators on topics such as academic stress, digital distractions and time management.
