WBBL 2025: Which Indian players are taking part in Women’s Big Bash League season 11?

Fresh off their Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 heroics, a host of international stars will be in action in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 11, starting on Sunday in Brisbane.

However, only one member of the World Cup-winning Indian team will take part in the eight-team franchise competition in Australia. India’s star of the World Cup semifinal, Jemimah Rodrigues, will turn out for Brisbane Heat in the upcoming edition of the WBBL.

Jemimah has been regular in the league since 2021, having played 30 matches while representing three different teams—Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat.

The 25-year-old has scored 644 runs in the WBBL, at an average of 25.76 and a strike rate of 121.50. She is the third-highest Indian run-scorer in WBBL history, after Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana.

The Mumbai-born batter was the second-highest run-scorer for Brisbane Heat last season, with 267 runs in 10 matches.

Jemimah’s Brisbane Heat will open its campaign against defending champion Melbourne Renegades on Sunday, November 9.
